We have a rare opportunity to join our Riyadh head-office as Area Manager for Saudi Arabia.
JOB PURPOSE
Direct support to the Retail Manager to oversee the day to day success of all stores in Saudi Arabia by collaborating with Store Managers, fulfilling all H&S guidelines, managing rota’s, staff head-count and store coverage. Ability to manage, coach, train and inspire all Store Managers to succeed in their roles and support in retail administration and enforce Burberry policies across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Support store management teams by ensuring they fulfil all training requirements, collaborate with Regional Trainer on the needs of retail teams across Riyadh and Jeddah.
• Provide commercial and qualitative reports on Saudi Arabia business performance in collaboration with Retail Manager.
• Monitor team performance, in support with HR, to provide both formal and informal feedback and support in recruitment across stores.
• Develop, elevate and motivate team members through high levels of brand and product knowledge and luxury experience within brand guidelines.
• Oversee all stock takes and physical inventory as per the defined processes with the support of store operations team, fulfil all reports.
PERSONAL PROFILE
Due to Nationalization of the retail industry, we can only accept applicants from Saudi or GCC nationals.
• Commercial mind-set who can navigate large volumes of data and sales reporting.
• Promote a team-work environment and culture within stores.
• Willing to travel between Riyadh and Jeddah frequently.
• Fluent in English & Arabic.
• Minimum of 6 years experience at Store Management level with retail in Saudi Arabia (luxury retail preferred).
• Advance knowledge of retail KPI’s, POS and store operations.
• Ability to go above and beyond expectations to prospect clients, support client engagement and CRM.
• Strong product knowledge with a natural interest in fashion and luxury.
