• Build partnerships with acquirers, banks, schemes, and alternative payment methods
• In charge of setting up the company s network of Bank accounts and procuring the required value-added services from partner Financial institutions.
• Manage FI partner selection process
• Building relationships with Banks and Financial Institutions to ensure that the organization has a good infrastructure and network of FI partners across the region
• Maintain and grow relationships with partner Financial Institutions
• Building relationships with Local such as Mada, Benefit & KNET and International schemes Visa and Mastercard
• End-to-end responsibility of payment methods: Act as the single-point-of-contact for a selection of Local Payment Methods, Alternative payment methods, and International Schemes, taking full ownership internally as well as externally. This includes working with cross-functional colleagues across the company as well as the Partners to achieve all aspects of the product. Including analyzing and addressing the operational issue
• Lead Tap s licensing activities for acquiring with different schemes including Visa, Mastercard, Mada, and all other payment schemes
• Growing relationships with existing and potential FI Partners, Schemes, and Banks to ensure that Tap covers all major payment methods
• Get the best commercial offers that are most effective and guide the Sales team on their usage
• Collaborate with Compliance on Banking Partners KYC and AML documentation
• Understanding payment methods domestically and internationally.
• Other duties, as assigned based on the demands of the business and growth of the role.
Background & Experience
• Built and led a team of internationally dispersed relationship managers, leading engagement with financial institutions across Saudi Arabia.
• Min Degree in Banking/ Finance/ Accounting or any related field;
• 5+ years of overall experience in the financial sector with preferably five years experience in the Banking sector, Experience working in the global business environment;
• Keep up-to-date with financial and industry developments;
• Strong knowledge of Central Bank s guidelines and other relevant local legislation;
• Strong marketing and sales skills;
• Strong analytical and judgmental skills;
• Strong knowledge of offshore banking;
• Ability to quickly pick up risk of Money Laundering;
• Ability to make decisions and be solution-driven;
• Strong understanding of the various financial market.
• Ability to lead, coach, and motivate the International Banking staff to meet targets;
• Good communication and listening skills;
• Ability to drive business and deliver strong results.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Very good command of Microsoft tools.
• Arabic speaking is essential
