Marie Stopes Riyadh, Saudi Arabia Jobs 2023 Full Job Description

Primary objective:

The Recruitment Officer will support the recruitment process and onboarding activities. Ultimately, the Recruitment Officer will help in hiring more efficiently and to keep the hiring process streamlined and running.

Areas of responsibility:

  • build and maintain candidates’ database
  • organize employment requisitions and job descriptions
  • responsible for advertising and job postings for open positions
  • review and assess candidates’ suitability for the required post
  • conduct phone screens and gathers the requirements such as education, experience, training, job skills and salary
  • schedule interviews and keep calendars for all hiring teams and candidates
  • greet and assist onsite interviewees
  • coordinate hiring activities with internal & external clients
  • provide post-interview information to hiring managers
  • prepare pre-employment and new hire paperwork for processing (background checks, certificate attestation, etc)
  • prepare relocation allowances for overseas new hires
  • maintain and update the manpower plan in coordination with head function
  • follow the practices of safer recruitment
  • follow up with the government relations regarding visa requirement for international hires
  • conduct new hire onboarding (e.g., preparing induction employee profile, medical & security checks, delivering the orientation program), and coordinate with HRBPs to assure the delivery of the induction and orientation programs
  • tracking and updating recruitment activity status in a weekly report that is presented to recruitment team
  • preparing and communicating documents within the hiring process (e.g. interview assessments, job offer letters and employment contracts, etc.)
  • undertake related clerical duties (e.g. answering emails and calls)
  • coordinate travel arrangements for fly-in candidates
  • maintain partnerships with all departments in order to understand their business, be aware of their staffing needs
  • collaborate and build relationships among recruitment agencies
  • maintain calendars for talent management team
  • other duties as assigned.

 

Safeguarding:

  • the post holder will be required to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people and follow the school’s safeguarding policies and the staff code of conduct. They will directly support the Designated Safeguarding Lead as a priority to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all students at the school.

Suitable qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or relevant field.

Desirable experience:

  • 1 to 3 years’ experience as recruiter.
  • Experience in mass recruiting.
  • Worked closely with local and international recruitment agencies.

Skills, knowledge and abilities:

  • familiarity with hiring practices and stages (screening, interview, assessment, onboarding
  • ability to communicate clearly in written and spoken english with colleagues and external agencies
  • ability to work sensitively with people from other cultures
  • ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • strong organizational and time management skills.
